New Voter ID Card के लिए Apply कैसे करें 2026 में: Registration, Documents, Eligibility & Status Check

जिन Indian Citizens की उम्र 18 वर्ष पूरी हो चुकी है या वे निर्धारित qualifying date पर 18 वर्ष के होने वाले हैं, वे अपना नाम Electoral Roll में जोड़ने के लिए New Voter Registration कर सकते हैं। Election Commission of India (ECI) के Voter Service Portal voters.eci.gov.in पर General Voter के लिए Form 6 के माध्यम से Online Apply किया जा सकता है। ECI के अनुसार 1 January, 1 April, 1 July और 1 October qualifying dates हैं।

ECI के अनुसार eligible Indian citizen, जो संबंधित constituency में ordinarily resident है और registration के लिए disqualified नहीं है, voter के रूप में register कर सकता है।

Eligibility

Voter ID Card के लिए मुख्य Eligibility इस प्रकार है:

• Applicant भारत का नागरिक होना चाहिए।
• Applicant की आयु निर्धारित qualifying date पर 18 वर्ष या उससे अधिक होनी चाहिए।
• Applicant उस constituency/polling area का ordinarily resident होना चाहिए जहां वह अपना नाम जुड़वाना चाहता है।
• New Registration के लिए applicant का नाम पहले से किसी Electoral Roll में registered नहीं होना चाहिए।
• Applicant Electoral Roll में registration के लिए कानून के तहत disqualified नहीं होना चाहिए।

Required Documents

New Voter ID Registration के लिए Form 6 में Photo, Age Proof और Address Proof से संबंधित जानकारी मांगी जाती है।

Age / Date of Birth Proof

इनमें से कोई applicable document दिया जा सकता है:

• Birth Certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• PAN Card
• Driving Licence
• Class 10th या Class 12th Certificate, यदि Date of Birth दर्ज हो
• Indian Passport
• अन्य स्वीकार्य Date of Birth Proof

Address Proof

इनमें से कोई applicable Address Proof दिया जा सकता है:

• Water / Electricity / Gas Connection Bill
• Aadhaar Card
• Nationalized / Scheduled Bank या Post Office की Current Passbook
• Indian Passport
• Revenue Department Land Record / Kisan Bahi
• Registered Rent Lease Deed
• Registered Sale Deed
• अन्य स्वीकार्य Residence Proof

Other Details

• Recent Passport Size Color Photo
• Mobile Number, यदि उपलब्ध हो
• Email ID, यदि उपलब्ध हो
• Aadhaar Number, यदि उपलब्ध हो

Form 6 में Aadhaar Number उपलब्ध न होने की स्थिति के लिए भी अलग option दिया गया है।

How to Apply Online for New Voter ID Card 2026

Step 1: सबसे पहले Election Commission के Official Voter Service Portal voters.eci.gov.in को Open करें।

Step 2: Sign-Up पर Click करके Mobile Number / Email से Account बनाएं और Login करें।

Step 3: New Voter Registration के लिए Form 6 का Option Select करें। ECI के अनुसार General Voter के new registration के लिए Form 6 इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।

Step 4: अपना Name, Date of Birth, Relative Details, Address और अन्य मांगी गई जानकारी सही-सही भरें।

Step 5: Recent Photo, Age Proof और Address Proof के जरूरी Documents Upload करें।

Step 6: पूरी Application को Check करके Final Submit करें।

Step 7: Form Submit होने के बाद प्राप्त Acknowledgement / Reference Number को सुरक्षित रखें। Form 6 acknowledgement का उपयोग application status check करने के लिए किया जा सकता है।

Voter ID Application का Status Online Check किया जा सकता है।

Step 1: voters.eci.gov.in पर जाएं।

Step 2: Track Application Status Option पर Click करें।

Step 3: Registered Account से Login करें।

Step 4: Application / Reference Details के माध्यम से अपना Status Check करें।

Important Instructions

• Form 6 केवल New Voter Registration के लिए भरें।
• Name, Date of Birth और Address जैसी Details Documents के अनुसार भरें।
• पहली बार registration करते समय applicant को declare करना होता है कि उसका नाम किसी अन्य Assembly या Parliamentary Constituency की Electoral Roll में पहले से शामिल नहीं है।
• गलत या false information देने से application पर कार्रवाई हो सकती है।
• Application Submit करने के बाद Reference / Acknowledgement Number सुरक्षित रखें।
• Registration complete होने के बाद Electoral Roll में अपना नाम भी Check करें। ECI इसके लिए online electoral search service उपलब्ध कराता है।
